Estimated Algae Coverage (%) Are there already other fish in the pond? Are there grassy areas along the edge of the pond for the tilapia to hide in? How deep is the deepest part of the pond? (feet) Does the pond freeze in the winter?

Stocking rates:
• Ponds 10,890 sq ft and larger: 1,000 tilapia per acre of algae
• Smaller ponds (down to 20×20): Linear scale from 250 fish down to 100 fish
• Predation: Calculated when other fish are present. Full extra if no grassy edges, half extra if grassy edges exist.
